Entry was made into the 2007 Australian Design Awards and following two rounds of judging clever peg was chosen as one of 11 finalists in the consumer category. At the Australian Design Awards presentation night held on the 11th May, clever peg was awarded an Australian Design Mark and was nominated to exhibit clever peg in the Powerhouse Museum, in Sydney.

Clever peg was selected to be part of the ABC New Inventors television program and was shown on the 4th April 2007. Clever peg was voted by the judges as the episode winner!
